Student Assistant - Federal Work Study

There are various paid part-time positions available to work on campus for students who are eligible for Federal Work Study, enrolled in at least 6 units, and has a 2.0 GPA or higher.

Pay: $16.90-$17.40/hour 

Hours: up to 20 hours/week (actual number of hours depends on the position) 

 

How to Apply

  1. Complete the FAFSA as early as possible: FAFSA Application
  2. Select "Yes" when asked about Federal Work-Study interest on your FAFSA. 
  3. (NOTE: If you already submitted a FAFSA, but you are not sure if you are eligible for Federal Work Study, email the financial aid office at Lpcfinaid@laspositascollege.edu with your name and W number.)
  4. Search for open positions: FWS Job Listings
  5. Contact the hiring supervisor – be prepared with a resume and your availability.
  6. Interview and get hired – Positions are filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
